These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Empire Softtech ("Company", "we", "our", "us") governing your access to and use of the NextCV – AI Resume Builder mobile application and website at nextcvbuilder.online (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
01 Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using NextCV, you confirm that:
- You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms
- You agree to our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference
- You are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any updates to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
02 Eligibility
To use NextCV, you must:
- Be at least 13 years old (or 16 years old in the European Economic Area)
- Not be prohibited by applicable law from using the Service
- Not have had your account previously suspended or terminated by us for violations
By using NextCV, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements above.
03 Account Registration and Security
3.1 Account Creation
To use NextCV, you must sign in using your Google account via Google Sign-In. By doing so, you authorize us to access the basic profile information (name, email, profile picture) permitted by your Google account settings.
3.2 Account Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your Google account and device
- All activity that occurs under your NextCV account
- Immediately notifying us at support@nextcvbuilder.online of any unauthorized use of your account
3.3 Account Accuracy
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information in your account and resume content. You must not impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
3.4 One Account Per User
Each individual may maintain only one NextCV account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or gain unfair advantage is prohibited.
04 Use of the Service
4.1 Permitted Use
You may use NextCV to:
- Create, edit, and manage your personal professional resumes
- Use AI-assisted content suggestions for your resume
- Export your resumes as PDF documents for job applications
- Access ATS compatibility scores and improvement recommendations
- Browse and apply resume templates to your content

05 Intellectual Property
5.1 Our Intellectual Property
The Service, including the app, website, resume templates, design system, AI models, and all associated technology, is owned by or licensed to Empire Softtech and is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our explicit written permission.
5.2 Template Licence
Resume templates provided within the app are licenced to you for the sole purpose of creating your personal resumes. You may not:
- Extract or use templates for commercial purposes outside of NextCV
- Share, sell, or redistribute template designs
- Use templates to build competing resume builder products
5.3 Feedback
If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant Empire Softtech a royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable licence to use and incorporate such feedback without any obligation to you.
06 Your Content
6.1 Ownership
You retain full ownership of all resume content you create using NextCV, including personal information, work history, and any other text you enter ("Your Content").
6.2 Licence to Us
By using the Service, you grant Empire Softtech a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to:
- Store, process, and display Your Content to provide the Service to you
- Use anonymized, aggregated data derived from Your Content to improve the Service (e.g., improving AI suggestions)
We do not use Your Content for advertising, sell it to third parties, or use it to train AI models in ways that could be attributed to you.
6.3 Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of Your Content. You warrant that Your Content does not infringe any third-party rights and that you have the right to include all information entered into the app.
07 AI-Generated Content
NextCV provides AI-powered content suggestions ("AI Suggestions") to help you write resume bullet points, summaries, and descriptions. Please note:
- AI Suggestions are provided as-is and may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your situation
- You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any AI Suggestion before including it in your resume
- AI Suggestions should not be used to fabricate experience, qualifications, or credentials you do not possess
- Empire Softtech makes no warranty that AI Suggestions will improve your job application outcomes
08 Third-Party Services
NextCV integrates with third-party services including Google Sign-In, Firebase, and Google Play. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or resources. These links are provided for your convenience only. We do not endorse and are not responsible for any content, products, or services available through third-party links.
09 Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Empire Softtech expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
- Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses
- Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content
- Warranties that the Service will meet your specific requirements or expectations
- Warranties that use of NextCV will result in job interviews, offers, or employment
10 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Empire Softtech and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities
- Damages arising from your reliance on AI-generated content
- Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or use of our servers or your personal information
- Damages resulting from interruption or cessation of the Service
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under or relating to these Terms shall not exceed ₹1,000 (INR) or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.
11 Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Empire Softtech and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:
- Your use of or inability to use the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- False or misleading information you provide in your resume or account
12 Termination
12.1 Termination by You
You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account and all associated data permanently, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account within the app.
12.2 Termination by Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have:
- Violated these Terms or our Privacy Policy
- Engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
- Harmed or threatened to harm other users or third parties
12.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. We will delete your data in accordance with our data retention policy described in the Privacy Policy. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
13 Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
14 Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
- Send an in-app notification for material changes
- Provide at least 14 days' notice before significant changes take effect
Continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
15 Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Empire Softtech regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
