This Privacy Policy governs the NextCV application and website, a service provided, developed, and fully operated by Empire Softtech. All application assets, user data parameters, and trademarks belong exclusively to Empire Softtech.
01 Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
When you create an account and build your resume, we collect:
- Account information: Full name, email address, profile photo (from Google Sign-In)
- Resume content: Personal details, work experience, education history, skills, certifications, and any other information you enter into your resume
- Contact information: Phone number, address, LinkedIn URL, portfolio URL (as entered in your resume)
- Communications: Messages you send to our support team
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the app, we automatically collect:
- Device information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers
- Usage data: Features used, screens visited, time spent in app, crash reports
- Log data: IP address, app version, timestamps of actions
- Analytics data: Via Firebase Analytics — aggregated, anonymized usage patterns
- Advertising and device identifiers: Where advertising is enabled, information such as your advertising ID (e.g., Google Advertising ID), IP address, and app/ad interaction data may be processed to support ad delivery, analytics, and fraud prevention — see Section 03: Advertising and Google AdMob
1.3 Information from Third Parties
- Google Sign-In: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account
- Firebase services: Authentication tokens, crash logs via Firebase Crashlytics
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Where advertising is enabled, Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK may provide device, advertising, and ad-interaction information to support ad delivery and measurement
- Payment providers: Where paid features are enabled, Google Play or another authorized payment provider may share transaction-related information with us — see Section 04: Purchases and Premium Features

To generate, format, and export your professional resumes as PDF documents
AI Suggestions
To provide AI-powered content suggestions tailored to your job title and experience
ATS Scoring
To analyze your resume and provide an ATS compatibility score with improvement suggestions
App Improvement
To understand how features are used, fix bugs, and improve the overall experience
Customer Support
To respond to your questions, troubleshoot issues, and provide assistance
Security
To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security vulnerabilities
We do not use your resume content to train AI models. We do not send you marketing emails without your consent. Where advertising is enabled, we may also use limited technical information (such as device and advertising identifiers) to display and measure ads through Google AdMob — see Section 03 below.
03 Advertising and Google AdMob
NextCV may use Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK to display advertising within the app. When advertising is enabled, depending on the SDK configuration, your consent choices, your device settings, and applicable law, advertising services may process information such as:
- IP address
- Advertising and device identifiers (e.g., Google Advertising ID)
- Device and app information (device model, operating system version, app version)
- App interactions (screens viewed, features used)
- Ad interactions (impressions, clicks)
- Diagnostic and performance information
- Information used for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, and ad delivery
Depending on your consent, applicable law, device settings, and configuration, advertising shown in NextCV may be personalized or non-personalized. We do not claim that personalized advertising is always used.
3.1 Rewarded Ads
NextCV may use rewarded ads to provide an in-app benefit, such as access to an eligible resume download or feature, in exchange for voluntarily watching an ad. Rewarded ads do not provide cash or any direct monetary compensation. Rewarded ads may not be enabled in all versions of the app.

04 Purchases and Premium Features
NextCV may offer optional paid digital features or premium resume templates. Where purchase functionality is enabled, purchases are processed through Google Play or another authorized payment provider — NextCV does not directly collect or store your complete credit/debit card number.
When you make a purchase, we may receive transaction-related information from the payment provider, such as:
- Product or template purchased
- Transaction ID
- Purchase date
- Currency
- Purchase amount
- Purchase or subscription status
This information is used to verify purchases, provide access to purchased features, and for customer support and fraud prevention. Purchase functionality may not be live in all versions of the app; where it is not yet available, this section describes how it will operate once enabled.
05 Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We share data only in these limited circumstances:
5.1 Service Providers
We use trusted third-party services to operate NextCV. These providers access your data only to perform tasks on our behalf. Some rows below — such as advertising and payment providers — apply only where the corresponding feature is enabled in your version of the app:

5.3 Business Transfers
If Empire Softtech is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
06 Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:
- Encryption in transit: All data transmitted between the app and our servers uses TLS 1.3
- Encryption at rest: Database records are encrypted using AES-256
- Authentication tokens: Stored securely using Flutter Secure Storage (Android Keystore)
- Access control: Strict role-based access — our team cannot read your resume content without explicit permission
- Regular security audits: We review our infrastructure and code for vulnerabilities periodically

08 Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Specifically:
- Active account data: Retained for the lifetime of your account
- Deleted account data: Permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion request
- Resume PDFs: Deleted immediately upon account deletion
- Analytics data: Retained in anonymized, aggregated form for up to 24 months
- Support communications: Retained for 12 months after resolution
- Legal/compliance records: Retained as required by applicable law
We use soft deletes only — your data is flagged as deleted and queued for permanent removal. We never hard-delete user data before the 30-day grace period, allowing account recovery if deletion was accidental.
09 Children's Privacy
NextCV is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us immediately at support@nextcvbuilder.online and we will delete the information.
10 Cookies and Tracking
The NextCV mobile app does not use browser cookies. Where Google AdMob is enabled, the SDK may use advertising identifiers and similar technologies (rather than browser cookies) within the app to support ad delivery and measurement — see Section 03: Advertising and Google AdMob. Our website (nextcvbuilder.online) may use:
- Essential cookies: Required for the website to function correctly
- Analytics cookies: Google Analytics to understand visitor behavior (anonymized)
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use any part of the website.
11 International Data Transfers
NextCV is operated by Empire Softtech based in India. By using the app, you agree that your data may be transferred to and processed in India and other countries where our service providers operate (including Google Cloud servers in the US and EU). We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for all international transfers.
12 Privacy Choices and Consent
Where legally required, NextCV will provide appropriate consent and privacy-choice mechanisms — such as a consent prompt — before processing data for advertising or other applicable purposes described in this policy.
Depending on your consent, applicable law, your device settings, and app configuration, advertising shown in NextCV may be personalized or non-personalized. You may also be able to manage ad personalization through your device's ad settings (for example, Google Settings → Ads on Android) and through in-app privacy settings where available.

13 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will:
