Delete Your Account

You have the right to permanently delete your NextCV account and all associated data at any time — no questions asked.

Once you delete your account, all your resumes, templates, and personal data will be permanently removed. You will lose access immediately and data will be erased within 30 days. This action cannot be reversed.

Step-by-Step Deletion Guide

Follow these steps inside the NextCV app on your Android device.

    Open the NextCV App

    Launch the NextCV app on your Android device. Make sure you are signed in to the account you wish to delete.

    Not installed? You cannot delete your account from the website. Please download the app first.

    Go to Your Profile

    On the bottom navigation bar, tap the Profile tab (person icon, rightmost tab).

    Open Settings

    On your Profile page, tap the Settings icon in the top-right corner to open Account Settings.

    Tap "Account"

    Inside Settings, scroll down to find the Account section. Tap it to expand account management options.

    Select "Delete Account"

    Scroll to the bottom of the Account settings page. Tap "Delete Account" — it will be shown in red to indicate a destructive action.

    You will still have a chance to confirm before anything is deleted.

    Read the Warning & Confirm

    A confirmation dialog will appear listing exactly what will be deleted. Read it carefully. Type DELETE in the text field (or tap the confirm button) to proceed.

    • All your saved resumes and PDFs
    • Your account profile and personal info
    • ATS scores and resume history
    • All app settings and preferences

    This will permanently erase all your data.

  7. Account Deletion Initiated

    You will be signed out immediately and shown a confirmation message. Your account is now scheduled for permanent deletion.

Can't Access the App?

If you no longer have access to the app or are unable to follow the steps above, you can request account deletion via email:
